Love her!

I love Bethenny Frankel. I think she is hard working, entertaining, smart, whitty and well, I just think she is pretty impressive. While, I am not the biggest fan of her Skinny Girl Margarita, I do love the idea and the brand. I will be trying the Sangria and the Wine. I get she is not for everyone, but I LOVE watching her show Bethenny Ever After. If you have not seen it, you should, I find it entertaining and worth the brainless hour.

Quick way to update a bathroom mirror

I have been wanting to do this in the bathrooms, but not figured out how to cover the stupid plastic clips. Until now!, Thanks to Some What Simple, I now have a solution and my new DIY job for the house. Head over to Some What Simple for step by step instructions on how to frame your bathroom mirror. I am planning to use a little larger molding around my mirrors. Happy DIYing.

Hardware

I have a new table/dresser in my entryway. It is really simple and has not been painted. I like the original wood color and want to keep it, but the hardware is terrible. I think something fun with color, would really spice this piece up. Here is what I am loving right now... they can all be found here at Anthropologie.

Christmas for my Feet

I got new Toms today. They make my feet happy. The best part, they cost me zero dollars thanks to Amazon's trade in program. I sold back a bunch of books that have been collecting dust at home and in my classroom. (reminds me of the good old days in Pullman, getting those crisp Bookie Bucks!)

My next Toms purchase just might have to be these.... Have you seen all the fun new Ballet Flats? If not, you should check them out.

Appetizer: Roll Ups

These are one of my simple, go to appetizers. They are quick, easy, fresh and are perfect for a party. Not the best pic, but I am not a photographer!

Recipe:

Green Onion
Pepper - any color (I usually use two different colors to make the appetizer more colorful)
Tortilla
Cream Cheese
Johnny's Seasoning Salt

Dice onion and pepper. Spread a thin layer of cream cheese over the tortilla. Sprinkle Johnny's Seasoning, then sprinkle the veggies. Roll up the tortilla and cut into bite size rounds.

Hand Print Hearts

I made these hand print hearts with my kindergartner class today. They turned out super cute. I am going to have the kids write a little love note to go with the hand print hearts and give it to parents for Valentine's Day.

Super Bowl

My husband made this for one of the Cougar football parties we attended. Who doesn't love a chip and dip stadium?!?!? The seats were a variety of different chips. The tunnels were the different types of dip. The end zones were salsa with sour cream writing. The field was a seven layered dip with sour cream lines. I thought it would be a fun, creative idea for a super bowl party. I am sure there are things he would change if he did it again... for example: tiered seating so the chips angled down to the field. Details! Not the best iphone pics, but it works!
